Bringing a Game?

Are you planning on bringing a full sized Arcade Video Game or Pinball Machine to the show? Thank you!
For every day the game is at the show on free play you will receive a free admission and be registered for prizes. If you plan on bringing something, or have questions, send an email to

Last Tuesday morning a fire broke out in the unoccupied rear 2/3 of the building. No damage occurred to the front 1/3. There were no injuries. The fire marshal has closed the building pending investigation and re-certification of the fire alarm system.

The show is not impacted by the issues at the Ramada. Our venue is behind the Ramada at the Triple Crown Pavilion.

For those that have reservations at the Ramada:
The Ramada will NOT reopen in time for the show this weekend. Hotel management confirmed with us today (2/26/19) that ALL RESERVATIONS ARE CANCELLED (one at a time - there is no auto cancel for situations like this) and emails sent out to the email address associated with the reservation.

We deeply apologize for all the confusion and any inconvenience this has caused anyone. It's been rough on us too! But we'll still have a great show and we're just glad the problem happened in time for people to make other accommodations.

If anyone has purchased e-tickets for the show and had a Ramada reservation and needs to cancel, please let us know. We're happy to give full refunds.

Some questions/answers:

Q: I didn't get an email! Is my reservation cancelled?
A: If you didn't get an email or you're worried that your reservation is still active, we suggest two things.

1. If you made your reservation online, you can go back to the Ramada site and view/modify it. If its not already been cancelled (it will show a cancellation number), there will be an option to cancel it.
2. If you made your reservation by phone, call the main Ramada reservation or support numbers (Contact Us Page) and have them verify the reservation and request it needs to be cancelled. Do not bother trying to call the actual Ramada front desk. The hotel does not have power due to fire marshall restrictions and can not use their phone. Generators are being used to run computer systems as needed.

Q: Why didn't LAX contact me to let me know about a change to the venue?
A: We don't have access to hotel registration data due to privacy regulations, even in special situations like this. We wish we could have called everyone personally!

Q: Where should I make alternative reservations?
A: The Marriott next door and Best Western just up the street are both excellent options. Check their websites for current pricing and availability. Use Google Maps to see the hotels around the venue (search for Triple Crown Pavilion, Louisville KY) - both are in walking distance no problem. Extended Stay is also right there.

Q: Are other hotels offering a similar discount for LAX?
A: Unfortunately no. It just doesn't work that way.

Q: Is there an upside to all this?
A: Parking should be better this year. The whole hotel is vacant so all those parking spaces will be available!

Q: What the heck happened?
A: The hotel was recently purchased by new owners and they decided to do a massive upgrade. The rear 2/3 of the building was closed, and will be demolished later this year. The front 1/3 of the building is being renovated with all new rooms and was due to be completed by LAX 2019.

Last Tuesday morning a fire broke out in the unoccupied rear 2/3 of the building. No damage occurred to the front 1/3. There were no injuries. The fire marshal has closed the building pending investigation and re-certification of the fire alarm system.
